CFRE/ACFRE CERTIFICATION SUPPORT 

(M, S opportunity)

The Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential demonstrates an individual’s mastery of the standards set for core knowledge and skills required of fundraising executives after five years of experience. Scholarships will be awarded for the CFRE Review Course, the CFRE Exam, or the CFRE renewal in the amount of $250 each to cover some of the cost. Course opportunities are available online as well as for group trainings/meetings.

Deadline:  4 weeks before local CFRE review and 4 weeks before CFRE EXAM application/recertification deadline

• Member for at least two years
• Serve on at least one committee
• Recommendation of a Board Member

• Write and submit a report to the Scholarship Chair that may be used in AFP materials, website, or newsletter and include a photo of yourself.
• Must be willing to mentor a young professional in our AFP Greater Houston Chapter.
