The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP; formerly the National Society of Fund Raising Executives) is the largest professional fundraising network in the world! One of the greatest benefits of AFP membership is the opportunity to network—to exchange information with one's peers, to learn from those who are more experienced, and to help those who are just getting started in professional fundraising. AFP membership means you are a part of a professional community that provides the environment to network with leaders in philanthropy.

Membership

All memberships start at the global level (AFP Global is located in Arlington, VA).  Visit afpglobal.org to get started with the process.  You will be prompted to enter your personal and professional information.  Note: While sharing your demographic information is optional, we encourage you to share as much as you are comfortable with, as this helps us serve our membership better.  You will select the Greater Houston Chapter as your local chapter. 

After joining on the AFP International website, please allow 2–3 business days for your membership to process to our local chapter. The AFP - Greater Houston Chapter office conducts a new member upload every Monday, which will then allow you to sign in to your member profile on the AFP-GHC website. Please note that your login information on our local page will be different from your AFP International login.
