Congratulations Rachel Rodriguez On Becoming A CFRE!

Becoming a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) signals commitment, competence and credibility. To become a CFRE, fundraising professionals must document their professional performance, education, and professional practice, in addition to passing the CFRE exam.

The AFP Greater Houston Chapter is proud to recognize Rachel Rodriguez for her accomplishment of becoming a CFRE this year! We congratulate her on this career-defining achievement and for continuing to uphold the highest standards in our profession.

“Obtaining the CFRE designation was a daunting task, but ultimately incredibly rewarding. I’m proud to follow in the footsteps of so many colleagues and AFP members who have received this achievement before me. I’m also grateful to the AFP Houston Chapter for all the resources provided. My greatest advice would be to reach out to others who have applied and taken the test, this was invaluable to me. I spoke to multiple people who had taken the test recently and years ago and was able to take each nugget of information and apply it to my studies.

If you need an extra person to chat with, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or reach out to AFP Houston to connect with others.”
